A brief overview of our work for The Coopers Arms in Weston-on-Trent to design and develop a country pub website. A spectacular country pub serving locals with Drinks, Carvery and Restaurant dining.
The Coopers Arms is a family run country pub which has been serving happy, returning customers for decades. As their tagline states, they are more than just a country pub. They have lots to offer from a well kept fishing pond to corporate hospitality, funeral receptions and some of the finest food for miles around.
They had a very dated website which was becoming difficult to edit as well as losing modern functionality such as mobile responsiveness. The new website needs to showcase the several services which they offer, display up-to-date menus, display upcoming events and have great imagery to show the dining aspect and history of the building.
Before we make a new website we want to consolidate as much content as possible. For The Coopers Arms we offered several services aside from website development. We covered the photography and portions of the copywriting for each service. We built the website using WordPress.
You will notice across the websites we design and develop that all imagery is clear. For The Coopers Arms we took our product photography equipment to take shots of individual dishes and general interior and exterior imagery. This gave us enough content to use for page banners, web page content and the gallery.
We offer a copywriting service for any industry, from financial services to furniture sales and anything else you can think of. We worked with The Coopers Arms to refine the copywriting for their service pages. You will find some great info regarding their history on their About Us page.
The Coopers Arms is an elegant country pub so the design needed represent this. The website overall is easy to navigate, has great imagery, and is kept up-to-date with events and menu changes each season. The colour palette is luxury but subtle and gives a timeless feel.
