Notts County Foundation
An accessible digital platform built from the ground up for the official charity of Notts County Football Club.
The brief
Move beyond a good-looking website and create an inclusive platform that works for everyone.
Notts County Foundation's previous website was aesthetically sound, but its next digital platform needed to meet a much more important requirement: WCAG 2.2 compliance.
After receiving proposals from several agencies, the Foundation chose Vimana Digital because we could offer multiple solutions within one joined-up build. We developed a completely new PHP website, supported by a bespoke CRM, and approached accessibility as part of the platform itself.
Rather than relying on third-party plugins, our team designed and built the core functionality in-house. This gave the Foundation a tailored solution, greater control and fewer ongoing software costs.

Vimana developed the accessibility tools in-house, removing the typical monthly cost of a third-party accessibility widget.

A bespoke donation solution reduced reliance on subscription-based donation plugins and supports the Foundation's fundraising needs.

We created a bespoke accessibility widget for the Foundation rather than adding a generic third-party overlay. Visitors can adapt the presentation of the site around their own needs, while the Foundation avoids another ongoing plugin fee.

Reading mask
Helping visitors stay focused
The bespoke reading mask reduces visual distraction by isolating a horizontal area of the page. It gives users another practical way to follow content at their own pace, directly within the website experience.
Bespoke fundraising
Donation software without the usual monthly fee
We built the Foundation's donation journey as part of the platform, giving supporters a clear route to contribute while reducing the recurring costs associated with an off-the-shelf donation plugin.
The system sits alongside the bespoke CRM, creating a more unified and manageable digital setup for the team behind the Foundation.

The finished website brings the Foundation's programmes, news, events and impact stories together in a clear responsive experience. From mobile visitors discovering local support to partners learning about the charity's work, the platform makes important information easier to reach.
