The brief
Starting a business and a website at the same time
Vimana Digital designed and built a WordPress ecommerce website for Unique Sculpt, a start-up offering personalised 3D sculptures. Customers browse priced sculpture options and book paid consultations through a built-in calendar. The site gave a new business a way to take money online from launch, and the owner left a five-star Google review.
We met Marisca at a local networking event while she was in the early stages of launching Unique Sculpt, a business making personalised 3D sculptures.
The brief was specific. She needed an ecommerce website where customers could book consultations for a personalised sculpture, not just read about them. There was also a range of sculpture options, each with its own price, and those needed to be displayed clearly so customers could choose the one that suits them.
How we did it
WordPress, bookings and the client's own imagery
01
WordPress with SEO from the start
The site was built on WordPress with SEO best practice applied from the beginning, kept clean, fast and easy to navigate.
02
Bookings at the centre
Each sculpture is personalised, so the sale starts with a paid consultation booked through the calendar rather than a standard basket.
03
The client's own imagery
The visuals, including the banner video, came from Marisca. We refined and optimised them so they suited the layout and gave the site a cohesive look.
04
Copy written for search
Each service has its own clear description, written with an SEO perspective so the site can be found.
What we built
A shop, a booking calendar and a clear price list
The layout displays each service clearly to make enquiries easy, and it was designed to minimise the need for significant changes later.
- WordPress ecommerce site with SEO best practice applied from the first page template, not bolted on afterwards.
- Paid consultation bookings through a built-in booking calendar.
- Sculpture options with individual pricing, laid out so customers can compare and choose quickly.
- Homepage video banner and imagery supplied by Marisca, refined and optimised to fit the layout.
- Copywriting written for the services and for search, so the pages explain the offer and can be found for it.
- A colour palette taken from the Unique Sculpt logo, so the site and the brand match.
- Responsive, interactive layout that keeps service information readable on any screen.

Can a sculpture business take bookings and payments on a WordPress website?
Yes. Unique Sculpt runs on WordPress with ecommerce and a built-in booking calendar for paid appointments. Each sculpture option is shown with its own pricing, so customers can compare and choose the one that suits them, then book a consultation. For a new business, that turns the website into a revenue stream from launch.
How much does a website with a booking calendar cost?
Vimana's small-business websites start from around £1,000, with medium to large sites at £3,000 to £6,000 and complex or bespoke builds from £5,000. Prices exclude VAT. Where a booking site sits depends on how many options you sell and how payments work. Ask us for a quote based on your own range.
Do I need professional photography of my work before we start?
No. Marisca supplied her own images and a video for the homepage banner, and we refined and optimised them to fit the design. That kept the site consistent without a separate shoot. If you would rather have new product images, Vimana also offers photography, planned around how the website will use them.
How long does a booking website take to build?
Straightforward websites typically take one to three weeks once the content is agreed; ecommerce and bespoke builds usually take four to eight weeks. The biggest variable is how quickly text, prices and images are ready, which is why Vimana offers copywriting as part of the build when you need it.
Can I change my prices and sculpture options myself later?
Yes. WordPress lets site owners edit prices, descriptions and pages from the dashboard without touching code. If you would rather not do it yourself, Vimana's website management service starts from £50 a month (paid annually), and hosting starts from £120 a year with SSL included.
