The brief

A new brand that had to look established on day one

Vimana Digital designed and built a WordPress supply-and-fit website for Doors Doors Doors, a new Nottingham venture from a long-standing client. The site combines service and location pages, door style galleries and protected enquiry forms with SEO set up from day one, our product photography and copywriting, so it can compete in local searches across Nottingham and the East Midlands.

Doors Doors Doors is a new Nottingham venture from a client we have worked with for years, set up to diversify their main business. A new brand has no track record to lean on, so the website had to do the trust-building itself: modern, fast, secure with SSL, mobile-first and accessible.

The brief was specific about structure. Keep it simple and scalable. Include service pages and location pages for Nottingham and nearby areas. Add product and style galleries plus an inspiration section. Make enquiries easy, with clear routes and protected forms.

It also had to be SEO-ready rather than SEO-later, on an easy CMS with secure hosting and backups, and aligned with the client's wider business identity.

How we did it

How we built it

  1. 01

    Structure first

The brief asked for a simple, scalable structure, so the navigation spotlights the key door ranges and makes enquiries easy.

  2. 02

    Mix stock and real photography

Manufacturer images gave breadth across every range and finish; our own product photography gave authentic detail for hero shots and close-ups. We colour-matched everything, cropped to consistent ratios and made sure lighting and backgrounds felt cohesive. See our photography service.

  3. 03

Make the images work for search

Filenames and alt text were aligned with the site's SEO structure, and every image was optimised for speed.

  4. 04

Write to convert, not to fill

We took time to understand the business, its audience and its goals, then wrote page content specific to each service. The aim was content that attracts, informs and converts, never filler.

  5. 05

    Build for longevity

The layout is structured to minimise the need for major updates and aligns with the client's wider business identity.

Questionsabout thisproject

Not covered here? Call and ask. We reply within 24 hours.

What does "SEO-ready from day one" actually mean?

It means the technical foundations are in place at launch rather than retrofitted: clean URLs, editable page titles and meta descriptions, schema markup, a sitemap and robots file, fast optimised images and caching. For Doors Doors Doors we also wrote the copy with search in mind and built location pages so local searches had somewhere to land.

Should a supply-and-fit business have location pages?

Yes, for the areas you genuinely serve. Someone searching for doors in a nearby town expects a page that speaks to that area, so a dedicated, genuinely useful page per service and location gives you a far better chance of appearing. Doors Doors Doors has service and location pages for Nottingham and nearby areas.

Can we use manufacturer images or do we need our own photography?

Use both. Manufacturer stock gives you every range and finish; your own photography gives authentic hero shots and close-ups customers trust. For Doors Doors Doors we combined the two, colour-matched them and cropped to consistent ratios so the galleries feel like one set. We can shoot products at your showroom or workshop.

How much does a trade website with galleries and local pages cost?

Small business websites start from around £1,000, and medium to large sites typically cost £3,000–£6,000. Where yours lands depends on the number of service and location pages and whether you add copywriting and photography. Hosting starts from £120 a year with SSL included. Prices exclude VAT.
